Long weekend in Melbourne 3 - 5 May 2018 FULLY BOOKED

The Society has made arrangements for a number of events in Melbourne to coincide with the AAADA Antiques Fair and the Colony exhibitions at the NGV.

The events for the "long weekend" are: 

• Thursday, 3 May, 7pm-10pm. Gala Preview, AAADA Antiques Fair at the Town Square Pavilion, Ascot Vale
• Friday, 4 May, 10.30am. Curator led tour of the Colony Exhibitions at the NGV, Federation Square.  
• Friday, 4 May, 2.30pm. Viewing at East Melbourne of a member's private collection, including a wonderful collection of boxes.
• Saturday, 5 May, 9.50am to 4.35pm. Viewing at Geelong of a member's Australiana and colonial furniture collection. As an option, visit by own arrangement to Geelong Art Gallery. Travel to Geelong by train from Southern Cross station.  

Each event is offered as an independent event and you may choose to book only the events you wish to attend. 

Event costs:

Colony exhibitions, curator led tour: $18 per person

East Melbourne private collection viewing: $40 per person

Geelong private collection viewing: $40 per person

AAADA Gala Preview: Complimentary tickets courtesy of Simpson's Antiques for attendees to East Melbourne private collection viewing or Geelong private collection viewing.

Travel and accommodation to/from Melbourne by own arrangement.

Travel to/from AAADA Antiques Fair, NGV, private collection houses, Southern Cross & Geelong stations by own arrangement.
