Presentation of Australiana Society Grant

Please join us for afternoon tea at the Sydney Jewish Museum on the occasion of the presentation of the Australiana Society Grant to the Sydney Jewish Museum.

The Australiana Society Committee recently awarded a grant to the Sydney Jewish Museum to purchase significant items of Australian Jewish History. 

The items acquired with the Society grant are ceramic pieces from the Vande Pottery, active in mid-20th Century and an extremely rare late 19th Century snuff box of sycamore wood, manufactured as a souvenir item with a transfer print of "The Great Synagogue Hyde Park/ Sydney".

As part of the presentation ceremony, Alan Landis will give a brief talk on the items.
