State chapters of the Australiana Society have been formed to promote the objectives of the Society within each state. A sub-committee for each state chapter is responsible for organising local meetings and events. In South Australia, an interest group meets every month for a show and tell.
One of the key aims of the sub-committees is to increase membership of the Society in each state and provide events where members can share their common interest of Australiana, promote and learn more about the topic.
